I help students access the support we offer to help them achieve their potential. One aspect of this has been to try and normalise and destigmatise discussing mental health.
I use innovative teaching methods such as TikTok, video games, meme analysis, podcasts, documentaries, and role playing in my lectures and tutorials, specifically to cater to neurodiversity.
When teaching students about criminal behaviour I provide examples from my work with offenders in prisons and psychiatric hospitals which helps them link criminological and psychological theories with real-world practice.
