I am a UKRI-funded (SWW DTP) PhD student in English at the Universities of Southampton and Bristol. My thesis examines representations of refugee homemaking practices in the UK in contemporary narratives, focusing on how the stories challenge and reiterate depictions of refugees in the UK news media. I completed my Bachelor's in English and Master's in English Literature at Keele University, achieving first-class honours and distinction respectively. In 2022, I was awarded AFHEA accreditation.
