Tuğba is research fellowship at Southampton University and conducting her study titled ''Effects of critical patient-centered skin care on barrier functions of skin'' that was funded by European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Worsley and Prof. Dr. Nuray Enç.

Tuğba graduated from Maltepe University, Nursing School in 2012. Then, she completed her MSc in medical nursing at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa in 2019 under supervision of Prof. Dr. Nuray Enç. She is PhD student at the same university.
After completing BSc, she worked as an intensive care nurse between 2012-2019. And now she is working as a nursing lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Health Sciences since 2020.
