- A literature review which presents and synthesises the available knowledge within the selected area under investigation.
This module is compulsory as it enables students to develop their teaching within their subject area

- Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of a key area of education in relation to relevant literature
- Critically compare and contrast different perspectives on a key aspect of education
- Understand how different perspectives and theories on a selected topic relate to practice
Syllabus
The syllabus content will be determined by both the subject specialism which the student is following and the particular aspect that the student identifies for their assessment. Generic content will focus upon research methods and writing at Master's level.

Teaching is usually by a range of lectures, small group seminars and individual tutorials. The maximum group size is 40.
