Biography
Peter van der Heijden became professor of social statistics at the University of Southampton in 2012. Since 1990 he is also working for Utrecht University, since 1992 as professor of statistics for the social and behavioural sciences. He chairs the Advisory Council on Methodology and Quality of Statistics Netherlands. From 2019 he is member of the Executive board member of European Statistical Advisory Committee of the European Commission (ESAC).
