Xinzhe Qiao is a Postgraduate Researcher based in the Law School at the University of Southampton. With a strong background in maritime law and safety administration, Xinzhe has pursued academic and professional experiences in both China and the United Kingdom. Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English, Xinzhe brings an international perspective to his work, alongside practical experience gained from various internships and industry placements.
Xinzhe's research focuses on analysing the contractual issues involved in shipbuilding contracts and their auxiliary agreements. His investigation delves into topics such as shipbuilding contracts, guarantees, relational contracts, and the concept of good faith. By examining these complex legal matters, Xinzhe aims to contribute to the understanding and improvement of maritime contract law and practice.
Additionally, Xinzhe is currently contributing to the teaching this semester, in the international sale of goods tutorial, expanding his realm of influence in the educational sphere and continuing to enrich student learning with his invaluable insights and experiences.
