My PhD research focuses on climate sensitivity and earth system dynamics. I am currently using Bayesian analysis and climate modelling to improve estimates and understanding of climate sensitivity and climate feedbacks over multiple response timescales.
I am 3rd year PhD student on the NERC INSPIRE Doctoral Training Partnership, based at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.
I completed an MSc. in Climate Change and Environmental Policy at the University of Leeds in 2020 after completing a BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Earth Sciences at the University of St Andrews in 2019.
During my MSc. at the University of Leeds, I worked with the Pliocene Model Intercomparison Project (PlioMIP2) to investigate ENSO behaviour in the Mid-Pliocene Warm period compared to the pre-industrial period to better understand how ENSO might respond to future warming.
I now use statistical and numerical modelling to reduce uncertainty surrounding climate sensitivity and climate feedbacks as part of my PhD.
