Current research
I am currently addressing the following key technology challenges:
- Scalability- to interface to more brain neurons;
- Signal processing- to enhance processing capacity for the next iBMI generations;
- Sensing- to perform implantable brain sensing utilizing minimally invasive techniques;
- Energy efficiency- to reduce implementation cost and power requirements;
- Miniaturization- to miniaturize useful technologies for biomedical applications.
