About
I completed my PhD in English Language Teaching from School of Education, the University of Sheffield. My PhD research explored a group of non-native ESOL teachers' attitudes towards Intercultural Competence. My previous study was for an MA in TESOL and a BA in English language and literature. Prior to joining the MLL, my ten year teaching career includes being a senior lecturer at the International College Portsmouth teaching research methods, academic skills and EAP. I have also taught at the University of Sheffield for postgraduate Language Education students and was supervising their dissertations. I became an EAP tutor on the Pre-sessional programme at the University of Southampton before taking on my current position as a Teaching Fellow.
