Zenon Taoushianis is Lecturer in Finance within the Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton. His current research interests include topics in corporate finance, financial distress, machine learning in finance, news and sentiment in financial markets.
He currently focuses on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods in banking and finance, emphasizing on credit analysis.
His work appears in international peer-reviewed journals such as Quantitative Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Review of Quantitative Finance & Accounting, International Journal of Finance & Economics etc.
He currently teaches MANG2015 Financial Management (UG) and MANG6028 Corporate Finance (PG)
