He is a powerful educator in Anatomy and has worked in Ireland, Bahrain and Malaysia. He was the Foundation Head of Anatomy at Lincoln Medical School, Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln, for 4 years before joining the University of Southampton. He is a graduate of Medicine and also has a Masters degree in Anatomy and an MBA from the highly regarded Smurfit School of Business in Dublin. He has been instrumental in setting up several new medical schools in different parts of the world. He teachers all areas of gross Anatomy, is an MRCS examiner and has been an external examiner in other medical schools
