Joshua Green is a PhD Student at the University of Southampton based in the School of Earth and Ocean Science. His current research focuses on compound flooding, numerical modelling, multi-hazards, and disaster risk reduction. Joshua completed his BSc in Physical Geography with a minor in GIScience, and Geocomputation from the University of British Columbia; and has a broad range of interests and expertise in areas of Earth system science, remote sensing, physical/human geography, environmental policy/management, and land/resource governance. Furthermore, he has considerable early career experiences having worked at numerous academic and government institutions throughout the US and Canada, and has collaborated and at times led a variety of natural hazard research and capacity-building projects (wildfire, drought, landslide, permafrost, flooding).
