Before joining the University of Southampton as a postgraduate researcher, Bandar studied MBA and graduated from Australia and then worked as a lecturer at the University of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for more than three years. Before that, he was working as an administrative assistant in a university council for more than 15 years. He works at University of Jeddah as a lecturer and he has been granted a full government scholarship.
