Dr Suhee Kim is a Lecturer in Finance within Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton.
Suhee’s research interest lies in corporate finance, corporate governance and business ethics. Her research focuses on the role of regulation on agency costs and firm behaviour. Currently, Suhee broadens her research interest to sustainable finance and DeFi.

Suhee joined Southampton Business School in August 2022. She obtained a PhD in Finance from the University of Edinburgh, funded by University of Edinburgh Business School PhD Scholarship. She completed an MSc (Research Master) in Business and Management from Rotterdam School of Management, an MA in International Commerce from Korea University and a BA in Life Science from POSTECH. Prior to becoming an academic Suhee worked in industry for five years including an SRI (Sustainable and Responsible) research and consultancy company and a government research institute in Korea.
