Dr. Stephen Hart is a visiting fellow and PhD graduate from Southampton University. His doctoral research, titled "A Pedagogical Design Model to Create Serious Games for Cyber Security," focuses on developing serious games as an educational tool for cyber security.
Currently serving as a cyber security architect in the payments industry, Stephen plays a key role in securing systems that, in 2024, processed over 11.9 billion payments valued at £10.3 trillion. With extensive experience in cyber security, he has shaped and executed strategic visions that have significantly strengthened national IT security, eliminated vulnerabilities, and transformed corporate infrastructures.
Stephen is a proactive leader in change management and process re-engineering, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to tackle complex challenges. He develops business cases for high-impact programs, presenting them to C-level executives. A passionate advocate for safeguarding critical business systems, networks, and infrastructures, he has expertise in crafting short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for deploying information security solutions, including data center consolidation, secure web hosting, and ITIL-based service delivery.
