About
Huajie Yi is a teaching fellow in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. She is a member of the Electric Power Engineering (EPE) group. She received her Master's and Bacherlor's degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University. She completed her PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) on a full scholarship. Following her PhD, she worked as a research fellow at GCU and joined the project sponsored by Scottish Power Energy Network. She continued her research funded by the Singapore Power Group at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore between 2021-2023. She is a member of IEEE and IET.
She was avawred the Fellowship of the HEA (FHEA) by the Advance HE UK in 2024.
