Biography
Dr. Jessica Pereira is an Anniversary Research Fellow at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering. She is a Materials Scientist with research focused on developing functional materials for emerging electronic devices and applications.
Dr. Pereira received her PhD from University of Warwick,UK and her research work was centralised on fabricating nanostructured copper window & reflective electrodes for organic photovoltaics. Prior to joining University of Southampton in August 2023, she was a Research Fellow in organic materials for energy generation & storage, in the Propulsion Futures Beacon of Excellence in the University of Nottingham, UK. During this time Dr. Pereira was based in the Carbon Neutral Laboratory and worked on developing more sustainable approaches for the synthesis of highly stable copper colloids.
