Eloi Ribe is a Lecturer in Gerontology with a background in Sociology. His research has focused on intergenrational realtionships of care and support, health inequalities in mid and later life, especially the accumulation of chronic diseases over the lifecourse, as well as the link between social and spatial mobility. Primarily a quantitative researcher, he has an interest in health consequences of in-work poverty across the lifecourse.
He also serves as the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) Ethics committee member and Dissertations Co-ordinator in the Department of Gerontology.
