Biography

Dr. Taiwo Tejumola is a Lecturer at the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, University of Southampton. Prior to his current role, he worked as an Assistant Professor and the head of the Space Payload Laboratory at the International Space University in France for over five years. Dr. Taiwo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, as well as an MSc and Ph.D. in Space Systems Engineering from the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. His research focuses on the design and development of innovative plasma instrumentation for small satellites and their practical applications. Dr. Taiwo's professional interests include small satellite payload development, plasma science, space systems engineering, project management, and actively promoting diversity and inclusion within the space industry for underrepresented groups. He has authored numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
