About
My name is Shengqi Xia, and I am a committed researcher in Geotechnical Engineering with a solid educational foundation from Tongji University, holding both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Presently, I am enhancing my knowledge in Offshore Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Southampton with the support of Presidential Bursary. My research endeavors, backed by two significant Key R&D Programs, have been centered on the seismic performance analysis of vehicle-track-tunnel systems. My practical experience includes leading roles in the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel and Shanghai North Bund Centre projects. Proficient in FE Modeling tools like ABAQUS, PLAXIS, HyperMesh, and programming languages such as C++ and C#, I have also showcased my research at various international platforms. Driven by a passion for propelling geotechnical engineering forward through cutting-edge research and practical solutions, I am keen on engaging with fellow experts in the industry.
