Current research
Our group, currently under build-up across the School of Electronics and the Institute for Life Sciences, aims at designing bespoke biomedical microsystems to investigate the role of cellular bioelectricity and electromechanics beyond excitability. Our mission is to improve our understanding of their fundamental mechanisms of action and identify novel biomarkers to unlock a range of applications in critical areas of medical research, starting with, but not limited to, cell signalling in cancer.
