The research group seeks engineering solutions for reliable, affordable and sustainable energy stemming from renewable resources.

We address key challenges facing society such as: sustainable energy, green transport, resource efficiency, resilient infrastructure, and mitigating climate and environmental change. Our research is changing the world for the better and impacting on the lives of people in the UK and around the globe.

Key areas of research include offshore renewable energy, specifically free stream tidal energy (much like wind turbines but underwater).
