Research project

DS2: Data Lifecycle Challenges & Risks

Project overview

Data management, storage, and security have become increasingly challenging due to the vast amounts of data stored in data silos and other repositories. This situation raises concerns regarding efficient data management and data safety.

The EU-funded DS2 project aims to address these challenges by collaborating with researchers and practitioners to develop a modular software infrastructure. This will connect data sources, enhancing data sharing while prioritising human-centric principles and maintaining safety and security.

Additionally, the project will provide an Integrated Development and Testing (IDT) toolkit, enabling data consumers and providers to adapt, structure, and execute efficient data lifecycles tailored to their specific needs.
