Research project

"Who is an entrepreneur?" is (still) a wrong question

Project overview

The search for unique entrepreneurial endowments was largely abandoned following Gartner’s (1988) thesis that “‘Who is an entrepreneur’ is a wrong question”. However, a resurgence of the “question of the entrepreneur” suggests that advances in genetics research may be the key to finding what makes entrepreneurs distinctive. This project draws from Wittgensteinian philosophy to offer a novel critique of the search for differences between entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs.
