XRHMS fPM Edition: Expanding X-ray Histology Management System to Meet Clinical PACS Integration Needs for Non-Invasive Foetal Post- Mortem Autopsies

Project overview

This project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between University of Southampton and GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) to address these challenges by adapting the XRHMS to meet GOSH’s clinical data management needs.

It is based on a long-standing relationship between the GOSH/Soton teams and the developed solution will provide a scalable and robust platform for managing fPM imaging data, ensuring proper metadata tracking, supporting PACS integration and current pathology reporting workflows for seamless clinical use.

In return, GOSH will help develop Soton’s foetal autopsy imaging service to deliverable maturity, thus this project is mutually beneficial in reaching a more advanced state of delivery for both partners.
