About the Photonics laboratory

Our teaching laboratories include 75 inch screens and latest generation oscilloscopes. The specialist photonics laboratory has research-grade laser equipment.

A small, domed rooftop observatory opens onto a starry night sky. Inside the observatory, two students use a telescope and a laptop to collect data.

Rooftop observatories

Students have access to our rooftop telescopes to help them explore and collect data on the galaxies and constellations surrounding us.
