Tim has interests in the application of positive psychology to help adults and children achieve their potential; in the impact of belonging on social, emotional and academic development; in the application of the social information processing model to inform supportive interventions; in the application of the cybernetic model of self-control; in exploring the impact of a sense of belonging on student outcomes; in the use of mental contrasting and implementation intentions to improve social, emotional and academic outcomes; and in the use of future selves to help people plan behaviour.
