Jacqui is an Associate Clinical Professor and registered nurse at the University of Southampton and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a nurse specialist in infection prevention her academic and clinical work focuses on implementing evidence-informed practice to reduce avoidable healthcare-associated infections. She has a particular interest in reducing urinary tract infection, including infection related to indwelling urinary catheters. Jacqui is an alumna of the NIHR 70@70 Senior Nurse and Midwife Research Leaders Programme (2019-22) and continues to provide leadership to strengthen the nursing and midwifery contribution to research in NHS organisations.
