Current research

Clive is a marine ecologist specialising inferring aspects of animal physiology and behaviour through the interepretation of stable isotope and trace element chemistry. He has a background in geochemistry and scientific archaelogy prior to focussing on marine, especilaly fish, ecology. Particular areas of interest include metabolic ecology and ecophysiology of fishes, migration ecology and ecosystem connectivity, food web structure and function and fisheries traceability
