Dr Pritipuspa Mishra

Priti began her historical studies in India where did her BA in History at St. Xaviers College, Mumbai and her MA in Modern Indian History at the University of Hyderabad. She then moved to the United States to do her PhD in Modern Indian History at the University of Minnesota.

Before moving to the UK to join the University of Southampton, Priti was a tenure track Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. In 2013-2014, she held a Fung Postdoctoral Fellowship at Princeton University.  She served as the secretary of the British Association of South Asian Studies from 2016 to 2021.
