Biography
Georgia is the Access & Participation Tutor at the Winchester School of Art. Her creative specialisms include fine art and textiles, while her educational specialism lies in pedagogies supporting neurodiverse people and those facing barriers to learning. Georgia’s research interests focus on alternative and extracurricular teaching spaces and how these can better engage those who may disconnect from traditional teaching settings, especially in adolescence.
Working with the Winchester School of Art’s two Saturday Clubs, and through evening course Georgia enables wider participation criteria young people to experience what a creative degree might entail. Additionally, she works with current students to creative a sense of community and creative wellbeing.
