About
Ella has worked as an outdoor adventure guide on the coast of West Wales since 2015. She is passionate about sustainability, conservation and marine biology and aspires to engage adventure enthusiasts in the wonders of the environment through explorations of the coastline.
To increase outdoor instructors’ ability to effectively teach and engage clients in the environment, Ella is in the process of developing a course, to ‘teach the teachers’ how to educate for environmental literacy during adventure activities. Ella hopes this will increase the quality of environmental experiences for adventure clients and contribute towards their adoption of pro-environmental knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours.

Write about yourself in the third person. Aim for 100 to 150 words covering the main points about who you are and what you currently do. Clear, simple language is best. You can include specialist or technical terms.
You’ll be able to add details about your research, publications, career and academic history to other sections of your staff profile.
