About
Elspeth is a doctoral researcher in the School of Education at the University of Southampton. Her research draws on her previous experience as an occupational therapist where she worked people with intellectual disabilities for many years. For her doctoral research Elspeth is working collaboratively with young people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities to explore how engaging in meaningful occupation can facilitate the experience and expression of belonging.
