Discover our state-of-the-art Digital Humanities Hub facilities and equipment.
The Digital Humanities Hub is a large, open concept, mixed-use space that encourages study, conversation and networking. It is equipped with a 100" video wall, moveable modular seating and presentation boards.
Connected to this space we have facilities such as:
- video and sound recording studio
- 2 and 3D imaging lab
- Igloo Immersive environment
- 3D printing lab
- virtual and augmented reality lab
- historic gaming station / modern gaming station
The Hub also contains various equipment. This includes:
- cameras (including tripods)
- microphones and audio recorders
- 3D scanners
- virtual reality headsets
- holographic imaging kit
We also provide video editing, imaging and data processing tools including text, image, network, and spatial analysis software on powerful desktop and laptop PC's.
All equipment booking is free to use for students and staff of the University, and technician time to support equipment use can be costed in research funding proposals. If you have any questions about booking equipment or about our facilities, please send an email to [email protected].
