Led by Co-Directors Professor Elizabeth Evans and Dr. Jessica Smith, along with Assistant Director Dr. Emilia Belknap, the Centre is grounded in advancing research excellence, fostering inclusivity, and driving societal impact.
Our Aims:
- Community Building: GAIN connects researchers across disciplines, creating a network of scholars and practitioners dedicated to understanding and addressing gender inequalities in social science.
- Collaborative Research: Develop partnerships with local, national, and international organisations to conduct real-world value and impact research.
- Supportive Environment: Provide a supportive research environment for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) and early-career researchers (ECRs), emphasising professional development and career progression.
- Student Engagement: Actively involve undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Centre’s activities
With a strong foundation in research excellence and a commitment to addressing societal challenges, GAIN seeks to shape a more equitable and inclusive social and political world. Join us in making a difference.
