We are keen to attract graduates from all disciplines to carry out postgraduate research. You will have at least 2 PhD supervisors with expertise in your chosen field. You will receive core and tailored training including:
- research methods
- statistics
- epidemiology
- research ethics
- governance
As a PhD student you will meet with the rest of the department through seminars, informal networking and integration of PhD projects with wider research themes. We have a PhD support group and an annual Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education PhD Research Conference where you can present and share your work.
Many of our former PhD students remain with us as Early Career Researchers. You can read more about our current PhD students below.
