Project overview
Physical activity is beneficial for supporting people to manage their long-term condition (LTC), through improvement or maintenance of functional activity, improvement in symptoms and prevention of future problems. Digital health interventions, such as mobile applications (apps), websites and wearables, and non-digital interventions can be effective for helping people to initiate activity in a variety of conditions. However, it is unknown whether this is maintained in the longer-term. The Maintenance Of Physical AcTivity BeHaviour (MOTH) programme aims to provide long-term solutions to support people with LTC to remain active.
