Biography
Dr Bradbury is a Health Psychologist and Principal Research Fellow. Dr Bradbury is an expert in developing and evaluating complex interventions, with particular expertise in digital behavoiur change interventions. Dr Bradbury's main interest is helping people to prevent and self manage health conditions.
Dr Bradbury also co-created an award winning methodology - the 'Person-based approach' which uses mixed methods to make interventions highly engaging, motivating and effective. Dr Bradbury uses a range of methodologies in her reserach, from qualitative interviews, through to large randomised controlled trials. Her trials are published in high impact journals such as the Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology and the BMJ.
Dr Bradbury is the Digital Health lead for NIHR ARC Wessex and co-leads the cross NIHR ARC working group on digital health tools. Her interventions in weight loss and long covid have had significant impact within the NHS.
