Project overview
This project was implemented as the Dynamo working package III (3.1-3.3), which is a part of CleanSky2 project. It aimed to extend the capabilities of the Prometheus design system on a number of fronts. Firstly, extend the aerothermal network generation and CFD capabilities to cope with lean burn combustors (WPs 3.1 and 3.2 respectively) and then develop a completely new finite element analysis (FEA) capability to enable thermal simulations of the entire combustor and individual components to be performed automatically (WP3.3).
