Module overview
The Complex Clinical Management module provides final year students the opportunity to development their skills and knowledge of systemic medical and surgical conditions and the relationship with the lower limb. By integrating previous learning at level 4 and 5, students will explore complex cases and develop assessment, diagnostic and management strategies. Formulation of treatment planning and application will be grounded in contemporary critical analysis of the literature and applied as part of evidence based approach with measurable outcome criteria.

Learning and Teaching
Teaching and learning methods
The subject of applied podiatry and general medicine is vast therefore regular keynote lectures will serve to underpin and guide students’ learning. During the keynote sessions directed tasks, for example, complex case studies will be presented for students to reflect on during their independent study time. Student centred seminars/case conferencing sessions will provide the opportunity of discussing key issues from the directed case studies with the module leader.
