About
Erich Graf joined the Psychology department at the University of Southampton in 2004. He is currently an Associate Professor in Experimental Psychology. His research is centred around perception, specifically how humans make use of information from incoming sensory inputs and our learned understanding of the world to build a rich, vibrant 3D model of the external world.

Biography
Erich received his PhD in Vision Science from the University of California - Berkeley, under the supervision of Clifton Schor. He has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. He received an International Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation (USA) to conduct research at the University of Glasgow. He then came to Southampton as a lecturer, and is currently an Associate Professor.
