About
Dr Richard Wills is Associate Professor in the Energy Technology Group. He is currently acting Director of Programmes for Mechanical Engineering. His research interests are focussed on electrochemical energy storage and its applications. This includes super capacitors, batteries and fuel cells at component and device level. HA particular focus is on the use of aqueous electorlyte systems and environmental assessment of energy storage devices to actively tailor materials and architecture to be environmentally benign during their development.
