About
Fraser's research focuses on addressing complex social questions through generation, integration and analysis of data from multiple sources, often within a geospatial framework. While his focus is on maritime prehistory, the interdisiciplinary nature of his work and the utlity of methods employed have seen him carry out research on a wide range of projects across the world (on land and underwater).
In recent years this has seen an increase in interdisciplinary research on contemporary topics; from environmental impact assessemnt and evaluation, to civic and community focused initiatives.

Biography
My undergraduate degree was in archaeology & anthropology at the University of Cambridge. Through this course i developed a love of prehistory and fieldwork. In turn, this led to an MA in Mariitme Archaeology at Southampton, following a desire to engage in research on submerged prehistory. The breadth and potential of this topic astounded me, leading on to a PhD At the University of Cambridge, looking at the Mesolithic and Neolithic of the East Anglian Fens, tracking sea-level change and human acitivity. This work required a mix of field and computational skils - a combination that i have always enjoyed and remains at the heart of my research today.
