Prof Nwabueze's current research, and funded, project explores and challenges law's refusal to recognise the privacy of the dead; the issue is examined from interdisciplinary, empirical and multiple perspectives, including theoretical, doctrinal, historical and philosophical approaches.

Biography
Professor Remigius N Nwabueze obtained his doctorate in law (SJD) from the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, and his LL.M degrees from the University of Manitoba, Canada and the University of Lagos. He obtained his LL.B from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he was the best graduating student of his LL.B class. Remi was an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa, Canada, before he joined the Southampton Law School.
