About
Samuele Cortese, MD, PhD is currently Full Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Southampton and Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for Solent NHS Trust. He is also Adjunct Full Professor with the New York University (NYU).
His research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, in particular ADHD.
He is the Chair of the European ADHD Guidelines Group.
As of March 2023, he has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers
In 2022, Prof. Cortese was included in the list of the world's most influential researchers of the past decade, ranking in the top 1% by citations in the field of psychiatry/psychology in 2021 in Web of Science
