Dr Sam Hornsey is a Research Fellow in the Primary Care Research Centre and in Clinical and Experiemental Sciences, both within the Faculty of Medicine.
Sam's research interests are the management of sleep problems in children, child and family health, primary care research and the development of digital behavioural interventions.
Sam's current Research Fellow post is for a NIHR PGfAR research programme developing digital sleep support for parents and carers of children with ADHD and sleep problems.
Sam completed her PhD in the Primary Care Research Centre at the University of Southampton in 2022. Her PhD explored the management of chronic insomnia in children in primary care.
Sam is a chartered Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society. Sam is also a Trainee Health Psychologist, undergoing her Qualification in Health Psychology Stage 2 training via the British Psychological Soceity independent route.
