David is a Lecturer and Practitioner with over 30 years’ international experience in transport economics and engineering management. He has worked in management consulting, government, and universities. Previous employers include Booz Allen Hamilton, Steer, Imperial College, and UCL.
David specialises in transport sector reform, infrastructure procurement, service contract franchising, and public policy. He has worked with engineers, funders, policy makers, manufacturers, contractors, regulators, and multilateral donors.
He is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Technical University of Dresden, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and a Member of the Institution of Transportation Engineers. David is on the Executive Committee of the University Transport Studies Group.
David has worked in: the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, India, United States, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand; he has also worked remotely on projects in: Mexico, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and Slovenia.
