He is a chartered engineer, a fellow of the British Computing Society (BCS) and Chartered Institution of Information Security (CIISec), and a senior member of the IEEE.

Title: Advancing Digital Forensics Analysis
Abstract: Digital forensics has become a critical tool in investigation of electronic information – however, the reality has arguably not lived up to the potential. Much of this is due to increases in devices used, storage capacities and the resulting cognitive load and time required for investigators to examine such systems. This presentation will discuss a series that have been undertaken to explore how machine learning can be applied to help identify relevant evidence in a timely and cognitive efficient manner.
