Law

Law students practice arguing cases in our simulated courtroom
The law affects us in multiple ways, whether it's protecting civil liberties or keeping order. You'll gain the critical thinking and communication skills to study and challenge its development and advocate for those in need of legal representation.

In our friendly community of students and academics, you’ll take part in team-building exercises and small-group learning. There will be opportunities to practise client interviewing and case management through placements, workshops and volunteering. Hear from leading lawyers and business professionals in regular seminars and get career-ready with weekly employability skills lectures, our unique Careers Programme and annual law fair. At master’s level choose topics from commercial law to human rights.
